Due to the website restrictions, I can only upload 3 videos in my lifetime to the site. As such, this section will contain links to my YouTube. It will be divided by date and the poem. Thanks!

December 18, 2025

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

This was my 27th reading.

This was a wonderful day to be back, and I am so glad it lined up with school getting out so I could go.

I had a whole plan, but two people before me was a 10-year-old boy who was so confident and did so well. I got very sentimental, and this piece is one near and dear to my heart because it got me back into poetry in high school. So, I chose to do "Beautiful Things."

September 18, 2025

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

This was my 26th reading.

This is the only reading I could manage to make it to this semester due to stage managing Lander Player's first production in years and class obligations.

I did "An Ode to the Journal" and "This Little Life" at this reading.

SC BARD 2025 LAUNCH IN CHARLESTON, SC

This was my 25th reading, second at SC Bard.

This piece is super, super important to me. I was very excited to publish it, and this was a piece that I was so excited to see someone else select as well.

August 7, 2025

Spoken Woods At Back to Nature Garden Center (Augusta, GA)

This was my 24th reading.

I did multiple pieces at this reading.

I started with "Failure of Words" (not entirely titled at the time) because I hadn't done that one often.

I did "Lacerated Chaotic Mind" and "Hybridization" next because I was super reflective on my career and where I'm at.

I did "The Tree" next both because I feel it is an important piece and because I was rehearsing for this year's SC Bard. (Content Warning: abortion, gay rights, strong language)

I finished out with "Just (Way of the World)" because it felt like a good way to end the night and the commentary needed right now.

July 17, 2025

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

This is my 23rd reading.

This was such a cool reading for me.

First of all, the talented and wonderful Alena Marie and I had worked together to adapt one of my poems into a song. That made its debut at this reading.

Second of all, my sibling Titus and my close friend Sofie made it to their first one of my readings.

I performed "Love and Pride," "He's No Romeo," and "Wish." These three tell a Romeo and Juliet POV, but I had never done "He's No Romeo" with them.

July 3, 2025

Spoken Woods at Back To Nature Garden Center (Augusta, GA)

This was my 22nd reading.

This one was a little rough. Last year on the 4th of July, I came to this exact reading event, read Ashes and Just, and then went back home. Later that evening, I got the call my great grandfather (who I had been living with and was my childhood hero) had passed.

So, in his honor, I did two pieces. The first was one I wrote about him and my great grandmother on the other side of the family (who also died summer 2024) before either of them passed. The other was purely about him written after he passed away.

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

THIS WAS MY FIRST FEATURE!!

So, basically, instead of 5 minutes, I got 10-20. Which felt really intimidating when I started planning, but it ended up going really well. It was an amazing experience I am so grateful for.

Spoken Woods at Back to Nature Garden Center (Augusta, GA)

This was my 20th reading.

"He's No Romeo" made its live debut. THE ONE AND ONLY BRANDON MULLIS made it all the way from Connecticut and was at one of my readings for the first time. Andrew and I both had dinosaur shirts on, and I like matching. So, it was a very good night.

I read "Message to an Empath," "Ashes," ""He's No Romeo"," and "Love and Pride."

May 15, 2025

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

This was my 19th reading.

This one was super cool for me for two reasons. One, the wonderful Eric Lawson was the feature. I love that guy. Look him and "Leaving Long Beach" up. He's great. Two, the next day would make exactly a year since my first reading ever, which was also at the Aiken Library.

I did "Hybridization" and "Ashes."

April 3, 2025

Spoken Woods at Back to Nature Garden Center (Augusta, GA)

This was my 18th reading.

I did quite a few that night, and I was a little out of sorts at first. I had just left an awards ceremony at Lander where I won two awards in our media department. It was such a fun day, and (honestly) it was really cool for both of my worlds to have events on the same day.

At the reading, I read "Too Fall in Love," "Wish," "Message to an Empath," "To Write," "The Storyteller," and "This Little Life."

I did "C" and "Beautiful Things." My dress that night is from the wonderful Brandy (Andrew's dad's girlfriend) and is one of my favorites.

I read "I Knew" and "Baby," one I wrote sitting there during that reading. This was a fun reading, and the vibe was really, really upbeat, possibly moreso than usual. It was a great night.

SCSTA College Festival (Newberry, Sc)

This was my first time doing the SCSTA Festival (South Carolina Speech and Theater Association). I did four events: duet improv, dramatic monologue, spoken word poetry, and impromptu speech. It was a crazy, but amazing, experience, and I can't wait for it next year.

Spoken Woods at Back To Nature Garden Center (Augusta, GA)

Beckey and I both read at this event. This was my 15th reading, her 2nd.

I did "But," "Better Yet," "Beautiful Things," and "Faded." Three of these were live debuts, and one of them was the first time I did one by memory. This was such a fun night for me.

Beckey did "Equal" and "Mommy." This was only her second reading.

January 16, 2025

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

This was my 14th reading, 1st of 2025.

The suggested theme was "endings and beginnings," which is something I USUALLY would've been ALL OVER. However, this reading was special. This was the day before Andrew's birthday, and Andrew's parents came to the first reading they've come to. So, I wanted to do sweet love ones. Then, I threw in "This Little Life" in honor of them being there as well, as they helped inspire the piece.

Aiken County Library (Aiken, SC)

This was my 13th reading.

I did "Ashes" to match the theme of strength. I also did "Hero" for the same reason and because it started this adventure for me, so it felt right to end the year with it.

November 21, 2024

Aiken County Library (Aiken SC)

This was my 12th reading, fifth at this location.

I had written a poem specifically for the topic for the first time, and I forgot it an hour away. So, I had to use what I had. I read "Look Up" and "When You Find This (1000 Years)." I don't think I have read "When You Find This" before this reading.

For some reason, no matter what I did, YouTube registered these as "Shorts." Following the link, that changes nothing. It just means it isn't in the "Live Readings" playlist if you are looking on the channel.

Spoken Woods at Back to Nature Garden CENTER (Augusta, GA)

This was my 11th reading, sixth at this location.

Due to the cold temperatures, we did this reading in their newly opened bistro. Andrew got their Reuben, and I got the veggie nachos. Highly recommend it. We also got the tea (I unfortunately can't remember which kind), and it was great. For an amazing price, we got about 4 cups of tea out of the little teapot they brought. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

(Back to the reading)

I read "Message to an Empath" and "Beautiful Things." As always, here are the links, and the wonderful Andrew took the videos.

This is the first time since my first reading that I read "Message to an Empath," and I couldn't be happier with the growth.

SC Bard 2024 Launch in Charleston, SC

This was my 7th reading, first at SC Bard.

This year, I got the honor of being published in the 2024 SC Bard Anthology. This is a state-wide collection of poetry for poets across all levels and ages. My piece "Hybridization" was selected by their team for publication.

I have the Charleston overview with a "Hybridization" voiceover, my reading of "Hybridization", and the full SC Bard Adventure Vlog linked for you. :)
