When I reach a page limit or certain pages get crowded, you can find any of the work from those sections here!
This was my 10th reading, fourth at this location.
Unfortunately, I had to get a new phone right after, and my videos from this reading were lost. I did just want to log that I read here.
This was my 9th reading, fifth at this location.
Because it was post-hurricane, only a few people came. As such, I got to read four of my pieces. I did two on the stage, and the last two I did around a fire, all cozy and intimate. It was so nice to see everyone and socialize post-storm.

I took Media 200-Media Skills with Cory Carpenter here at Lander. We were given two films to do September 20th and 23rd. Both were 30 seconds or less and were designed to be an editing assignment. We had to show an action from 5 angles and make it look continuous. Both were to be silent, and the second was supposed to tell a story.
I got Casey to be an actress on the first, and the second I had to film on my own. Neither is perfect, but I feel like both are pretty great. So, here they are.

This was my 8th reading, fourth at this location.
Sidenote, y'all, this is a beautiful location for events. It's also a wedding venue and is GORGEOUS. We did the reading out in the wooded area instead of the pavilion, and it is a dream. ESPECIALLY as it got dark.
I read only one piece this week, "Secret", that is fairly new and not yet on the site.

This was my sixth reading, third at this location.
The first two pieces I read were "Hero"' and "Hybridization". Due to a tech issue, I don't have "Hybridization" on video unfortunately.
The third piece I read was "Complexity, Simplicity, and Love". I was not planning on reading it, but there was an impromptu theme of "love" that night, and I wanted to do this piece justice.
**ALSO, free plug, if you are in the Augusta area and love tea (like me), I HIGHLY recommend their Crimson Berry tea. I bought some that night for so cheap, and it is among my top 5 teas now.**
This was my fifth reading, third at this location.
The first two pieces were both rather short, so they are in a video together. They are "Love and Pride" and "Wish". They both pulled inspiration from a Romeo and Juliet POV.
The third piece is "I Won't Jinx It". This is the first piece I wrote about Andrew.
The fourth piece is "Without You".

This was my fourth reading, second at this location.
The first piece is still untitled as I finished it that day,
The second piece is entitled "Just (Way of the World)".
This was my third reading, second at this location.
I did "Hero" to match the "Dad Impact" theme, "Hybridization" as I felt it went well with "Hero", and "Beautiful Things".

This was my second reading. I did "C", a poem about Casey that she didn't know existed (she was in the audience). I also did "To Write". This is not the version to so far exist on the site, but an edited and improved version that will be re-uploaded later. Those videos are taken by Andrew.
I also convinced Mom while we were there to read one of hers. So, this was Beckey's first reading. She did "Mikel", a piece she elaborates on in her video. That video was taken by me.

This was my first reading. I did "Message to an Empath" and "Complexity, Simplicity, and Love". I was very nervous, and I think it showed a lot. However, there is always next time, and I overall did well. The quality of the video is a little shaky, and I am hoping eventually it'll be better. These videos were taken by Andrew.
